DAY ONE - Flight To Spain
Most international flights include meal and beverage service.

DAY TWO - Madrid Arrival/Toledo Homestay
Arrival Madrid. Panoramic sightseeing tour of Plaza de España, Puerta del Sol, Old Madrid, and a visit to the Prado Museum. Later, enter La Mancha landscapes as you head to Toledo, a unique blend of Christian, Moorish, and Jewish cultures. Meet your host families.

YOUR MIDDLE CLASS HOST FAMILIES are selected and continually monitored by the resident city director of Linguatur Internacional, widely regarded as the most respected homestay organization in Spain today. Additionally, a native resident monitor works directly with each Organizing Teacher and their participants during their homestay, thus ensuring an extremely well coordinated, memorable experience. Host families live in the modern community of Nuevo Toledo, a few miles from Historic Toledo. Spanish is spoken in the homes. Participants room with one other group member of the same general language ability.

DAY THREE - Historic Toledo
Get acquainted with both your host family as well as Nuevo Toledo practicalities: transportation, banks, shopping complexes, municipal pools, civic auditorium. Later, it’s Historic Toledo for your official tour: the Church of Santo Tomé, Cathedral, House and Museum of El Greco, and the old Synagogue.





DAY FOUR – Historic Toledo
Continue your visit of Historic Toledo with guided visits to the Hospital of Tavera and the Duque de Lerma Museum. Later, explore the San Juan de los Reyes Monastery, El Transito Synagogue and Sefardi Museum on your own/at your own pace.

DAY FIVE -
Now that you’re familiar with your new home, it’s time for with your Guided Adventures: visit the traditional handicraft factories and sample some sumptuous sweets.

DAY SIX – Windmills/Granada
Drive to Consuegra and your tour of the famous Don Quixote Windmills, the Castle and an olive oil factory. Then it's on to Granada, the favorite city of the Moorish kings.

DAY SEVEN - Granada Tour/Costa del Sol
Visit Alhambra Palace and Generalife Gardens. Continue to your host hotel along the famous Costa del Sol beaches.

DAY EIGHT - Costa del Sol
Enjoy your day at the beach or consider an optional full day excursion to Gibraltar. Follow the public footpath for panoramic views from the top of the rock! Later, browse for bargains in this unique and diverse tax free shopping zone.

DAY NINE - Costa del Sol
Explore, relax on the beaches, or select a popular optional tour such as a full-day excursion to Tangiers or a half-day visit to Mijas & Puerto Banus.

DAY TEN - Sevilla
Drive to Sevilla, Andalucia's capital and birthplace of flamenco music. Morning motorcoach tour: Maria Luisa Park, Torre de Oro, Santa Cruz Quarters, Cathedral, and the Moorish Alcazar.

DAY ELEVEN - Cordoba/Madrid Hotel
En route sightseeing of Cordoba, the Moors "Mecca to the West." Visit La Mezquita before continuing to Madrid.

DAY TWELVE - Madrid Departure
